Welcome to my site

I have worked in The Animation industry all my career, and only started to Sculpt a few years ago after building a Studio in my garden which gave me the space I needed.

During the course of my career I have worked on many films. I co-scripted, boarded and animated on The Christmas Classic, “The Snowman” and Directed and Scripted another Raymond Brigg's story, “The Bear” I also co-wrote and Directed the sequel to “The Snowman”, “The Snowman and The Snowdog”

I have received several awards for “Best Director” and my films have been nominated for BAFTAS and also short-listed for an Oscar.

In the art of animation one is deceiving the eye by making two dimensional drawings appear three dimensional. It is a natural progression to physically work in three dimensions by making sculptures.

All my pieces are modelled in stoneware and are individually hand-built and are therefore unique. Some of the pieces shown on this site have been sold. I can make another to order if required – however the piece will naturally not be an exact replica.
I give all the profits from the sale of my work to conservation organisations, principally The WWF and The RSPB.
